  6. I have naturally been on a IF for many years, as my last meal of the day is between 5-6pm, with nothing until 8.30am. But I would feel after breakfast somewhat disorintated-energyless, then I heard about IF, so I did not eat until noon, and only eat between noon and 6pm. no longer do I get the energy dip after lunch, and seem to be able to keep the same level of energy all day. Another benefit is that I drink less caffeinated beverages, with no energy drop, where before I would have to have more after lunch to stop, or try to stop the energy dip.

    IF has only really worked for myself in an 18/6 window, so as suggested a 12/12 or 14/10 has no effect. Seems like a chickens way out and I would question whether that sort of window is really IF.

  7. I have been doing 18-6 and I have never felt better. I am such a believer that our body needs a time to heal itself uninterrupted by simply fasting. Suffered from depression and over weight. My brain works better. I am focused than ever.

  8. Just to inform the few people who may see this, Black coffee is not ok to drink while you fast. it contains caffeine which is technically an enzyme, which then requires your body to activate your digestive system and throw your fasting times off.
