  2. @SuperHuman You When you say you should bring your carbs down on a rest day, should I then bring something else up to make the calories? Example, decrease carbs by 15% then bring up protein and fat by 7.5%? Just a little confused on that

  6. Is it really frowned upon to eat well below your deficit number? I'm 247 lbs, used to be somewhat jacked before injury 3 years ago. Calculator is telling me to eat 3,166, minus the 500 is 2,666 which seems rather excessive for a cutting/fat loss diet. Could I go down lower or will I risk muscle loss? Weight training and doing low intensity cardio at a deficit.

    I currently weigh, 185lbs, 5'9, I've a desk job, I lift weights & do cardio daily. Yet I've trouble losing weight. My goal is to weigh 170lbs. I am trying again with the formula you have set out to help me figure out macros. My question is regarding how to figure out protein, carbs.

    I know you said .9 x body weight or 1.1 x bodyweight. Which bodyweight are you describing? The current weight i'm at 185 or the weight that I want to be at 170lbs? I assume my current body weight 185lbs? Please clarify! Thank you for help!
