  2. thank you for sharing. i needed to hear this. i've watched endless videos and just feel like some people dont get it. i am on a down spiral of years and years of weight and body image **ish, and i'm just so exhausted from it. i went from 208-145 in a grueling 3 years, then 145-172 (today) within 11mos… I haven't found my why, i'm gonna focus on that and get back on track.

  7. This gave me a different point of view of myself big time. You express everything so well and how mentally you have to prepared your self in a certain life style not just in losing weight but with hypothyroidism. The struggle is real I started with my medication on October 2018. Heaviest at 206 and now 188 but for some reason I can’t go under 188. I believe now it was all mentally and emotionally that was holding me back and hearing this just made me realize so many things i been struggling with. Thank you for sharing your story you are an inspiration.

  8. What an inspirational testimony! It has helped me to change my view of weight loss and focus on micro goals rather than “must lose twenty pounds.” I, like you, would get discouraged in the past when the weight was not coming off quickly and was hyper focused on the numbers on the scale.

  9. I needed to see this today. I lost 15 pounds in about 1.5 months (healthier choices and gym 5-7 days/week), but now I'm at a standstill and have been for about 2 weeks. it's definitely frustrating, but your spirit gives me hope that I can lose more.

Recently I went to the doctor and he told me that my weight is starting to cause health problems such as hypertension and high cholesterol. He told me I needed to lose weight and diet. And the word diet has a nasty taste in my mouth to me it resembles failure, restrictiveness, and unhappiness. I associate happiness with food and I have been struggling the last week to make any changes to my diet because i am terrified of failure and in my head I can not fail if I don’t try. But after watching your video I now have a better outlook on how I should take care of myself and that it’s not about my looks but how I feel. And I want to thank you for kickstarting and helping me start in the right direction.
