  3. this is very true, when I was younger, I was skinner than my cousins and it was because of my obsession with jumpropping. I did it for hours every day, by myself and with a group where my friends would also jump in. I realized that was the only activity I got because once I stopped, I never touched the rope but got a hula hoop instead, I was obsessed with that for a year or so. I was in good shape but when I moved to Florida and with my cousins, I never touched these things again and that’s when I remember I started to gain weight. I hope to start this again because it is very satisfying after your heartbeat is in your ears and you are sweating but it’s fun.

  5. 46 yrs old. I've lost 30 lbs over the last 2 years, sitting at 10% body fat now. Equation for Jump rope weight loss is Pace * Weight * Time – Pace is 0.089 (this is full out) fixing time at 15 minutes to burn 300 cal you would need to be 230lbs. Which I am not. To get 300 + Cal I need to jump for 20 minutes. I select 6, 3.5 minute songs and grab a drink in between tunes. Works great!

  6. three minutes of straight jumping. i get bored in 20 seconds and start doing tricks and eventually screw up .lol. its just too tempting to throw in crossovers and double unders in there. but ill give this a shot
