A little background story…
My husband and I started trying December 2014. After many appointments and tests we were diagnosed with “unexplained infertility”
In July 2016 we had our first appointment at a fertility clinic after already being on clomid for a few cycles. We started treatment with a combination of Femara(Letrozole), Metformin & IUI (intrauterine insemination). After that didn’t work we moved on to injections of Gonal F, monitored cycles with ultrasounds and IUI again. After 2 failed cycles with this treatment, I knew my body needed a break.
We continue to hope we will conceive on our own as we continue to live a healthier lifestyle. Who knows what the future holds but I know I will be a mommy one day.

  1. 45 pounds is amazing but you need to keep going until youโ€™re at a normal BMI. If your husband is also overweight he should also lose weight to improve his sperm count and libido! Yaโ€™ll should try the Keto diet, itโ€™s amazing and has helped many women get pregnant! Good luck girl!

  2. My husband wants me to lose 80lbs before we ttc baby #2. We got pregnant on the first try with our three month old. I just want to lose weight because I would really like a baby bump this time. I was 250lbs when we got pregnant and now I'm 265.8lbs

  3. I am also currently working on losing weight as well to help with conception i have low AMH as well but i researched that it also has to do with having low Vitamin D deficiency and my AMH CAN go up if you take a vitamin D supplement which i am, i am on the Keto and Low carb way of eating. Lindsay is absolutely right.. btw lindsay i have also been TTC for 3 years too. we will have our baby. i speak into existance!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
