  1. On #7…I visited in May 2010 and stayed at Hotel Provincial on Rue Chartres (about 4 blocks from Jackson Square). I did not experience any of the loudness or rowdiness described. It was pretty tame and a highly convenient location. The price per night was not bad at all. Now, as far as the next point, driving in the city…yeah just don't. My first day there, after checking in, I drove over to the Garden District to walk around. By the time I was heading back, it was 5:00 rush hour. Will never do that again. I walked everywhere after that.

  2. I really appreciate this list. Well done. Every american City should have one of these done by you. I like your style.
