  1. Nice to see the Dominion Cinema in the Morningside neighbourhood included. A nice evening: dinner at the Ghurka Restaurant (Indian) on Morningside Road, then cross the street to Newbattle Terrace and walk a minute to the cinema. A good walk from Princes Street or a short bus ride (5, 11, 16…possibly others) will get you there.

  2. I was enjoying this video up until around 8:30 when you started taking the piss out of the way Scottish people pronounce Edinburgh (i.e. the correct way).

We are proud of our people and places, and we are proud of how we speak. You enjoyed our hospitality so at least attempt to say the name of the city that hosted you without being disrespectful.

  3. Thanks for posting this video. It was very informative and I have used it as a 'things to check out' reference as I will be there in June. I see a few people have pointed out the
pronunciation of Edinburgh which by now, I'm sure you get. (When you hear it said with the hard "g" sound, it does interrupt the flow of your wonderful commentary.) And to share a bit of history, Princes Street was named after George III's sons–hence each of them was a prince. Cheers,
    Darryl
