  1. Good video! How much is an average bed and breakfast in US? I’m planning a US x-country trip next year, fly to NY rent a car drive south route to LA, then northern route back to NY. Will take tent but travelling with a 5 year old so want to stop in a decent B&B every now and then is also a plan.
Do you have to book paid campsites and b&bs in advance or can you show show up on the day and expect a vacancy? Thanks

  2. Right now me and my girlfriend are planning a year long road trip!! Almost like this one. Got a bit over 10k saved for it atm but definitely know now I need a lot more thanks for your help with this video. I’m truly excited!

  3. This was really helpful for me. My wife and I are in our 60s, and in the fall of 2020 we are going to take a cross-country trip planning on tenting our way the whole way. Will definitely check out that free campsites.net site to see how we can stay for almost nothing in places I still see a good part of the western part of the US. You’re driving from Pennsylvania for A 6 Week Rd. trip and plan on having our newly acquired dog by them to accompany us. Glad I found your channel I’m going to check out some of your videos from your trip for inspiration.

  4. Awesome vid!
So, you've spent about $950 for lodging in 100 days. Taking into account how much inns and motels cost in the US during summer season, then you should have stayed in those for about 10-12 times during the whole trip. That means having a shower once in every 8-10 days? Or did you exploit other shower possibilities besides at motels?

On the grand total, it would look quite different for me, as I'm renting my apartment, my monthly running costs including all bills are approx. $1700. Being away for 3 1/2 months and without work/income, that would add up to $5700, that I would have to come up with. So, in my case, the actual cost will be around $10000.

  5. That's awesome I have been thinking about doing a trip like this myself but I will be starting from Klamath falls which is funny yall whent threw there on your trip lol

  6. So $4000 should be enough for a 30-40 day trip across America.. I feel like I’ll be pimpin for that much, more $ for food & hotels free camping is def the ticket..

  7. Hey guys! Did y’all ever publish the video on your favorite free campsites? I’d love to watch it.

  8. I have a trailer and truck and my own cars, considering doing the same thing you guys did but longer and trying to save 8 to 10k for my trip I wanna do a whole year if I could

  9. I love this but lmao the way he said ustados unidos (I don’t know how to spell that exactly but I know how it’s supposed to be said)
